Breaded boiled eggs – very easy and quick to prepare appetizer with a tasty and crispy crust.

  • 4 eggs
  • q.s. flour
  • q.s. breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • q.s. salt
  • q.s. black pepper (optional)
  • q.s. sunflower oil (for frying)


  • Boil the eggs for about 9-10 minutes, after that cool and peel them.
  • Put some flour and breadcrumbs into separate bowls. In another bowl, beat 1 egg and season it with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Roll each peeled boiled egg first in the flour, then dip it in the beaten egg and then roll in the breadcrumbs. Repeat again in the egg and breadcrumbs.
  • In a deep pan, heat plenty of oil. Fry the eggs for about 2-3 minutes until crisp.
  • Drain and place on kitchen paper to drain off excess fat.
  • Serve with a fresh salad or sauce of choice.
