  • 100 g bread
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp basil (dried)
  • 1 tsp oregano (dried)


  • Dice the bread.
  • Pour the olive oil and sprinkle with the basil and oregano. Other dried spices to taste can be added, as well as garlic powder. Mix it.
  • Spread out the cubes on a tray covered with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200° for about 5 - 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • The croutons are ready to add them to creamy soups, salads or serve them as a snack or appetizer.
