The scent of honey, cinnamon and ginger … delicious and easy to prepare biscuits for Christmas or any other day of the year.
- 1 egg
- 30 g honey
- 55 g sugar
- 40 g butter
- 5 g cinnamon
- 5 g bicarbonate of soda
- 5 g ginger powder
- 250 g flour
- 20 g vanilla
- q.s. brown sugar

- Beat the room temperature butter with the sugar. Add the egg and the honey and mix.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, the baking soda, the ginger, the cinnamon and the vanilla. After that sieve it and add gradually everything to the other mixture. Mix all together.
- Make the dough. Then spread it with a rolling pin on a lightly floured surface in a thickness to about 5 mm. Using a star cookie cutter (or other shape), cut the biscuits and place them on a baking tray covered with parchment paper. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 9-10 minutes.
- Let them cool and store in a box.
