Mushrooms in a pan with garlic, parsley and butter are a quick and easy to prepare recipe. They are excellent as a vegetarian dish or as a side dish to meat or vegetable dishes.


Mushrooms with garlic and parsley
Ingredients
- 500 g mushrooms (champignons)
- 50 g butter
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- q.s. lemon zest
- q.s. parsley
- q.s. salt
- q.s. black pepper
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms – peel and wipe with a damp cloth.
- Cut the mushrooms into large slices.
- In a pan, melt the butter with the olive oil. Add the garlic, crushed or finely chopped.
- Add the mushrooms. Cover with a lid and cook for about 5 minutes.
- After that add salt to taste, the finely chopped fresh parsley and a little grated lemon zest. Cover again and leave on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes until the water evaporates.
- Serve the mushrooms hot, sprinkled with some chopped fresh parsley ground black pepper to taste (optional).
