A recipe for a tasty and easy to make smoothie with strawberries, banana and fresh mint. The idea is perfect for breakfast as a healthy start of the day or for cooling off in the summer. The strawberry drink is also very suitable for children. The milk could also be substituted for coconut, almond, soy or other vegetable milk.
Strawberry and banana smoothie
- 250 g strawberries
- 1 banana
- 300 ml milk
- 3 leaves mint (fresh )
- 20 g honey
- q.s. ice (optional)
- Wash the strawberries removing the green stems. Place them in a blender or in a tall jar if you use an immersion blender.
- Add the peeled banana, mint, honey and milk. Vegetable milk can also be used.
- Blend it until a smooth and homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses with some ice cubes (optional) and serve it.
