Watermelon, lemon and ginger drink – perfect to cool off in the summer.
The rich vitamin cocktail contained in the watermelon makes it extremely healthy. The high water content distinguish it as a preferred fruit for cooling off during hot summer days. This drink is thirst quenching and completely natural, with no added sugar.
Watermelon, lemon and ginger drink
- 500 g watermelon (without rind and seeds )
- 10 g ginger (peeled)
- 1 lemon
- 2-3 leaves mint (fresh)
- ice (optional)
- Clean the watermelon (recommended to be cool) removing the peel and all the seeds. Then blend it together with the ginger.
- Squeeze the lemon and add the juice. Mix it well.
- Serve the drink with a leaf of fresh mint and some ice (optional).
